This is the sixth group of accused, totaling 1,176 out of the 1,300 complaints filed by the Attorney General’s Office,. This group is formed by those who acted as authors and instigators of the anti-democratic acts.
If the majority of the magistrates accept the complaints, the defendants will have to answer for the crimes of incitement to crime and criminal association.
So far, the STF has prosecuted 1,045 defendants.
Last week the Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Investigation into the coup events was installed.
The Commission will have 180 days to investigate the actions and may submit their results to the Attorney General’s Office in order to provide evidence for the criminal process.
