EU high representative Josep Borrell arrives in Cuba

Havana, May 25 (Prensa Latina)The High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, arrived in Cuba for an official visit, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

Borrell and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez will preside over the 3rd Cuban-EU Joint Council on Friday, May 26, in which the state of the implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement will be assessed.

As part of his program of activities in Cuba, the high-ranking functionary will meet with authorities and representatives of several sectors of Cuban society and visit institutions and places of interest.
