“Abrazos entre líneas y color” (Embraces between lines and color) is the title of the exhibition which she shares with her sister, Isabel Busto, a winner of Cuba’s National Dance Award, who also dabbles in the world of brush and graphite.
The public could see works in diverse materials and techniques, including acrylics and oils on canvases and canvas prints.
The exhibition coincides with the 101st anniversary of the Battle of Pichincha on May 24, 1822, which sealed the independence of what is now the Republic of Ecuador.
The display is under the sponsorship of the Ecuadorian Embassy in Havana.
Ecuadorian Ambassador to Cuba, Jose Maria Borja, and other members of the diplomatic corps accredited here, attended the opening ceremony.
