The film tells the story of a house in Havana that was the home for many years of a group of 30 children up to 10 years of age. They were the sons and daughters of members of the Argentinean Montoneros organization.
Those children spent part of their childhood away from their parents, who left them there to protect them while they fought against the dictatorship that ruled their country.
The men and women in the documentary testify about their experiences in Cuba, relive the fantasies and memories of their stay between 1979 and 1983 in the house they called “La Guarderia”.
According to a press release, Adela Segarra, a former member of the Montoneros and a former lawmaker in the Argentine Chamber of Deputies, as well as two of her children who lived in “La Guarderia,” will attend the screening of the film.
