Six people were shot at dawn during an assault by the IDF on settlers at the site of Joseph’s Tomb, east of the town of Nablus.
According to the head of the Emergency and Ambulance Department of the Palestinian Red Crescent in the city, 80 Palestinians suffered asphyxiation due to the inhalation of toxic gas deployed by the Israeli forces.
The health authority confirmed to Wafa agency that Palestinians were evacuated after the soldiers´ assault with gas bombs and assured that the Red Crescent teams suffered aggressions.
Dozens of Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israel´s armed forces, clashed with the Palestinians, resulting in the closure of Amman Street, a main street in Nablus.
According to local media, Israel´s raids in Tubas, Salfit, Al-Bireh and in the city of Al-Yamoun received a Palestinian response from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades who engaged them using firearms and homemade explosives.
The assaults continued yesterday’s raids and others on the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qabatia, and the Dheisheh camps, in Bethlehem, and Aqbat Jabr, in Jericho.
As a consequence of Israel’s impunity and crimes, over 150 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of this year in the West Bank and Gaza, including the 33 killed in the aggression against the Strip in recent days.
