The members of the Federation will visit a children’s daycare center in the municipality of Yen Khan, and will later talk with members of the pilot project “Women and the environment”, also in the town, before meeting with leaders of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (PCV).
They will also tour the tourist center of Trang An on Monday, and will return to Hanoi on Tuesday to visit the Bank for Social Policies and learn about the trust loans it makes.
Amarelle and her delegates will be received by the General Secretary of the PCV in Hanoi, Dinh Tien Dung.
The FMC delegation completed an intense work program in the province of Hai Phong, last weekend, which included a tribute to the founder of the homonymous city, General Le Chan, and visits to the port company and the Social Care and Protection Center.
They also exchanged information with the municipality’s Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, regarding care challenges and solutions to care for and support the elderly and also people in difficult circumstances.
Amarelle and her delegation learned about the operation of the Center for Women and Development, as well as the work carried out by a unit of the National Union of Women of Vietnam in the Dong Xuan market.
At the end of the meetings, the FMC delegation joined the tribute organized by the Cuban embassy on the occasion of the celebration of Mother’s Day.
Amarelle and her group were received last week by the president of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Vietnam, Vuong Dinh Hue, who ratified Vietnam’s support to Cuba, especially in the current complex international context.
