The fatal event occurred when a private transport with almost a hundred passengers overturned in Loma de Mariana, in the Guantanamo municipality of San Antonio del Sur, some 60 kilometers from the provincial capital.

Among the deceased are two men and two women; three of them died at the scene, and the fourth died in the medical center of the aforementioned town, the Guantanamo television station Solvisión stated in a report.

The wounded receive specialized medical care at Guantanamo’s medical care units.
