Moa TV journalist Yulieska Hernández informed on Facebook that “much of the facility’s perimeter is at risk of fire,” and outbreaks are perceived in the nearby mountain range.

Hernandez explained that the causes of the fire have not yet been determined, and rescue forces from the nickel industry and the Ministry of the Interior are assessing the area to put out the flames in the most accurate way possible.
