The minister, who met with senior military commanders this Tuesday, stated that such weapons include advanced laser-guided missiles, anti-radar missiles, anti-ship missiles, smart bombs, and hypersonic missiles.
Shoigu noted that his Ministry nearly tripled weapons procurement since early 2022, and purchases of the most in-demand ones increased sevenfold.
The minister also confirmed that the defense sector companies cover the armament demand of the country’s Armed Forces.
