Norberto Champa Gallioti, a coordinator of the Continental Network of Solidarity with Cuba, is in Mexico City for the second time to participate in the 27th National Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, which will take place on April 29-30.
Champa will report on all that the Coordinating Committee has done in its three years of activity and will present new ideas so that solidarity can spread and the demand against the United States economic, commercial, and financial blockade that affects the Cuban people is massive, popular, and global.
I expect nothing from the United States, only if it is defeated because it will not spontaneously suspend that economic war that violates international law and human rights, he added.
Champa quoted his Rosario compatriot Ernesto Che Guevara, who said in a speech at the inauguration of an industrial plant in Santiago de Cuba on November 30, 1964, that “imperialism cannot be trusted for a minute, but not even a little bit.”
