Caracas, Apr 25 (Prensa Latina) The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a dialogue today in Caracas with Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, who is visiting the South American country to review the cooperation map.

Maduro received the Caribbean PM at the Miraflores Palace, seat of government, accompanied by the president of the National Assembly (parliament) Jorge Rodríguez, foreign minister Iván Gil and the vice minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi.

The also president pro tempore of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, arrived last night at the Simón Bolívar international airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, where he was received by Li Causi.

This is the second visit this year to Caracas of the high official, since in February he came and held meetings with President Nicolás Maduro and other national authorities.

During his stay in this capital, the Prime Minister of the Caribbean island received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, awarded by the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, for his fraternal brotherhood with the Latin American peoples.

His important contribution against the aggressions of imperial power groups and his unrestricted defense of anti-hegemonic projects were also taken into account. Last January, Gonsalves assumed the pro tempore presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States from the hands of the President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, in the context of the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the integration bloc.

When speaking, he thanked his election at the head of the organization and assured that he would work very closely with all the States.
