A member of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) Ramos is touring several Mexican states, in which, in addition to updating local organizations on the situation in her country, such as the US blockade, or the results of the general elections, she also discusses the progress of the preparations for the great friendship meeting.

In Monterrey, capital of Nuevo Leon, she met with the full state committee to receive information on everything that is being done to support the Cuban people, the preparations for the meeting and gave a lecture on Cuba’s current situation, in which the consul in Monterrey, Fabio Alvarez, also took part.

From that beautiful Monterrey city, Ramos will leave for Jalisco with a similar work program where today, although in the afternoon-evening, she will give another informative conference and the progress of the meeting in the capital, in which the special guest is Ramon Labañino, National Hero of Cuba and vice-president of the National Association of Economists.
