In a joint letter, the doctors emphasized that the trust placed in Díaz-Canel is rooted in the balance of his work during the first stage when he took on all the challenges with courage and vital responsibility, in light of the tightening of the blockade and the confrontation with the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the letter sent to Prensa Latina, the Jordanian graduates in Cuba expressed their confidence in the revolution and its leadership to overcome the continuous imperialist aggressions and challenges of all kinds.
Signed by its president, Issam Alkhawaja, the professionals highlighted the strength, potential and creativity of Cuban patriots to transform the impossible into possible.
At the same time, they repeated their commitment in defending the truth of Cuba from their trenches as doctors trained by the Cuban Revolution and its institutions.
The Association also underscored the solidarity and friendship among peoples and highlighted the memory and legacy of the historic leader, Fidel Castro.
The Cuban Parliament on Wednesday ratified Diaz-Canel as president of the Republic for another five years, after receiving the backing of 97.66 percent of the 462 deputies present at the constitutive session of the 10th Legislature of the National Assembly of People’s Power.
