The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates questioned in a statement Israel’s plans to Judaize the eastern part of the city of Jerusalem.
The diplomatic institution also condemned the systematic Israeli restrictions on the faithfuls to visit their holy sites, both Christian and Muslim.
It considered these measures as “an extension of a colonial policy which imposes greater control over and access to sacred sites.”
“Israel denies the rights of our people and its obligations as an occupying power through a continuous escalation of aggressions with a fascist mentality,” the Ministry stressed.
