In a day of reflections in favor of culture held on Wednesday, the board of directors of the Association of Artists expressed that the integral work has been a priority to stop the deterioration of broad sectors of the population in visual arts, the institution posted on social media.
Ongoing topics of discussion are: criticism to encourage audiences, integration of creators into artistic teachers, and preservation and enrichment of architectural heritage.
UNEAC President Luis Morlotte also referred to the assemblies developed in Cuba and acknowledged the Government’s attention to the creators’ concerns and the program to solve them, UNEAC reported on its Twitter profile.
In the meetings of artists at a country level, participants emphasized the need to be creative and defend Cuban culture, and also moral and spiritual values, local press reported.
