In a statement, the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs declared as ‘unfounded’ the so-called ‘Venezuela I’ case, indicated by the ICC.
Once again, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court shows a clearly biassed vision in relation to Venezuela, reproducing without consideration the campaigns that seek to instrumentalise the issue of justice and human rights for political purposes, the note indicated.
The text pointed out that all this is to the ‘detriment of the seriousness and rigorousness’ expected from an international stance of such relevance.
The document explained that the Bolivarian Republic presented on February 28, 2023 before the International Criminal Court, a solid dispatch that refutes all the fallacies of the medias and geopolitical aggression launched to accuse Venezuela of ‘alleged crimes against humanity’, which have never occurred.
