Upon his arrival in Moscow, Abdolahian was received by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Iranian ambassador and diplomatic personnel, according to the Ministry’s website.

Both Foreign Ministers will discuss negotiations between Iran and the G4+1 on the joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, with the objective of getting the parties to return to talks.

Lavrov and Abdolahian will also analyze look into bilateral relations, as well as a series of matters of mutual interest on the regional and international agenda.
