Salvadorans and Cubans residing in the country gathered in the Oscar Romero Square carrying Cuban flags and signs which read: ‘all my love for Cuba’, ‘El Salvador loves Cuba’ and ‘Down with the blockade’. This meeting was also used to pay tribute to Saint Oscar Romero on the 43 anniversary of his murder.
This manifestation, as well as others that took place in other countries, evidenced worldwide solidarity with Cuba, just as Cubans showed their support for their Revolution during the election of deputies to the 10th Legislature of the National Assembly of the People’s Power, a process that was concluded on Sunday, March the 26th.
