The Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), led by Sánchez, remarked in a press release that it is the Forum of Progressive Governments, sponsored by the SI and headquartered in Santo Domingo, where the Ibero-American Summit is taking place.
Sánchez will meet with Argentina’s President Alberto Fernández, Chile’s Gabriel Boric, Colombia’s Gustavo Petro, Bolivia’s Luis Arce, Dominican Republic’s Luis Abinader, Honduras’s Xiomara Castro, and Portugal’s Prime Minister Antonio Costa.
Benedicta Lasi, Secretary General of the SI, will speak during the meeting.
The president of the Spanish Executive, who is in Brussels and will travel to Santo Domingo in the next few hours, will also accompany Spanish King Felipe VI for a working breakfast.
Sánchez and Felipe VI will meet with Abinader, Xiomara Castro, and Ecuador’s President Guillermo Lasso, according to official sources.
