During the day, six medical discharges were granted and the number of recovered patients reached 1,104,117 and since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, 1,112,743 citizens were infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and the number of deaths remains at 8,530.

A total of 90,7% of the Cuban population is fully vaccinated, while 8,711,452 people have had booster doses.
