According to Peskov, Moscow´s top priority is and will be the goals set at the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, and these can only be reached by military means.

Earlier, Wolfgang Ischinger, former chairman of the Munich Security Conference, urged “to launch a peace process” for Ukraine, noting the pressing need to create a contact group of Western nations for such a goal.
