The Madagascan Government informed that at least 15 people have died since Freddy struck for the first time in this country in late February.
Some 40,000 residents have been affected, while some 1,000 houses have been destroyed during its second “hit” in this country, the Executive stated.
According to a forecast by the UN Monitoring Center in Reunion Island, Freddy, with strong gusts of winds and heavy rains, is expected to make another landfall in Mozambique on Friday and Saturday.
