Nine people were discharged on the day, so the number of recovered patients rose to 1,104,024 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, while 1,112,637 people have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus during that period.
The total death toll remains at 8,530 lives.
According to MINSAP, 90.3 percent of the Cuban population have received the full vaccination schedule, while 8,705,576 people have been administered booster doses of homegrown vaccines.
