The head of State reiterated his congratulations to the personalities who won the Jose Marti and Juan Gualberto Gomez awards.

On Tuesday, the UPEC and the Jose Marti International Institute of Journalism held a Special Conference on Press Models in Cuba.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 16 leading media outlets selected for a new press model in Cuba, which should advance substantially in the first half of 2023.

According to organizers, this exchange can enrich the common vision of the economic and editorial management models projected by Cuban media.

They will also contribute to the transformation of economic structures, conceptions of communication, productive routines and media systems that will allow local media to respond to a changing environment more effectively and efficiently.
