City of Vladivostok, Russia, to host Eastern Economic Forum

Moscow, Mar 7 (Prensa Latina) The Eastern Economic Forum will be held between September 12th and 15th at the Far Eastern Federal University, in Vladivostok, the Russian Foundation for International Events, RosCongress, reported.

According to Russian President’s Counselor and RosCongress Executive Secretary Anton Kobiakov, the Far East’s impact on Russia’s development has increased considerably, and it is an important region for strengthening national economy and increasing export potential.

“The decision to specify the dates of the Eastern Economic Forum is linked to the program of international events,” Kobiakov announced, and reminded that the meeting was initially scheduled to be held between September 5th and 8th.

In a call back, the senior Russian official stated that More than 7,000 participants and media representatives from 68 countries attended the Eastern Economic Forum in 2022, and 296 agreements were signed, .
