According to Shoigu, the meeting took place at the headquarters of the joint Staff of the Russian armed forces, and he listened to the reports of the commanders of the groups on the current situation in their respective areas of responsibility, as well as plans for further actions.

Shoigu paid special attention to the creation of the necessary conditions for the safe deployment of personnel in field conditions and the organization of comprehensive support for the troops. Special attention was also paid to the work of rear and medical units.

The deputy defense ministers reported to Shoigu recently on the organization of the continuous supply of weapons, war matériel and ammunition to the troops.

The Minister also paid great importance to the organization of combat training for reserve units, political-military work and other types of comprehensive support for the troops.
