After a more-than-five-hour meeting, members of the national Executive, governors, and political and union leaders agreed to defend democracy and define common strategies leading up to the October 2023 presidential elections.
Convened by President Alberto Fernández as a leader of the “Partido Justicialista”, the meeting concluded on Friday with the release of a document which assures that the future of the nation is at stake in 2023.
Two models of a nation will face each other: Argentina of a shared, democratic and egalitarian progress; and the anachronism of a right wing that conceives it as a business platform for a few, the text states.
Regarding the current context, it recognizes the complex economic and social situation to which concrete answers are necessary.
