The Lebanese army held Tel Aviv responsible of violating the territorial sea, air, and land while participating in the tripartite meeting in Ras al-Naqoura, lead by UNIFIL Head of Mission Aroldo Lazaro.
The note pointed out that representing the Lebanese Army, Mounir Shehadeh reassured this nation’s commitment to the UN resolutions, especially UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and all its provisions.
The Lebanese side stressed the need for Israel to leave the occupied territories, the Shab’a Farms area, the Kfar Shuba Hills, the outskirts surrounding the village of Mari, which includes part of the urban sprawl of Ghajar village, and the 13 points in which the country reserves the Blue Line.
The two countries have been at war since the State of Israel was established in the occupied land of Palestine.
Throughout these years, many crimes and attacks linger in the memory of the Lebanese people who are facing Tel Aviv’s ambitions to seize the waters of the Litani River and the oil and gas wealth.
