Martinez said that the intention is to link the development of maritime transportation with the industrial sector.

The MORENA party legislator pointed out that the project will demand a lot of work from the members of the Commission, as different shipyards in the country have not been building for years.

He noted that there are no ships, except for coastal and offshore vessels, in Sonda de Campeche, and everything depends on international maritime transportation, with other flags.

Martinez added other legislatures proposed ordinances on the matter, but they have been stopped.

A draft of the bill will be sent to the members of the Commission and will be subjected to opinions to enrich it and draw up an excellent initiative for the maritime sector.
