On Twitter, Bruno Rodríguez posted he had a phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, where both sides confirmed the existing potential to further strengthen bilateral relations and diversify ties in areas of mutual interest.

Since 1991, relations between Baku and Havana have strengthened, and are also expressed in areas such as agriculture, culture, sports, scientific collaboration and academic exchange.
