That Peruvian right wing’s sector used the Congress of the Republic, accompanied by a media campaign, sectors of the Armed Forces and institutions such as the Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary, which removed President-elect Pedro Castillo from office without complying with constitutional requirements, the Movement stated in a communiqué.
The document also added that Castillo was sentenced to 18 months of “preventive” imprisonment, which according to national and foreign experts, becomes a kidnapping.
Hundreds of wounded, dozens of deaths, especially young people, executions, false flag attacks, raids on social and union headquarters, arrests without warrants, and all kinds of perfidies are part of the acts of outrage and reprisals by the Police and the Armed Forces against those who increasingly support Castillo, it pointed out.
The Movement rejected the de facto government, breaking the most elementary protocols, declared Mexican Ambassador Pablo Monroy persona non-grata and prohibited the entry of former President Evo Morales and other people under false accusations.
