The deputy minister added that the Kosovar authorities are heading towards escalation, undoubtedly relying on the support “of their sponsors, mainly the European Union and Washington.”

In this context, he stated that all those who influence Pristina’s attitude should pressure it to renounce its war plans and comply with the obligations assumed.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said on Sunday that he plans to increase the number of NATO personnel deployed in the interest of strengthening peace and security throughout the region.

Kosovo, a former Serbian province populated mostly by Albanians, unilaterally proclaimed its secession in 2008, which to date has been recognized by 101 countries, against 88 who have not, including Serbia, Russia, China, Spain, Greece, Iran, Argentina, Brazil and other states.
