The Russian government, on the other hand, on Wednesday released a note adding that both presidents agreed to continuing contacts at various levels.
In November, Díaz-Canel and a huge Cuban delegation paid a visit to Moscow so as to conduct a sweeping work agenda that included high-level meetings and the opening of a monument in honor to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro.
