The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it condemns constant violation of prisoners´ rights in Israeli detention centers, especially their right to medical care.
It said such criminal practices have killed many, being a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
On Tuesday, prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, 50, who suffered from lung cancer, passed away after Israeli authorities refused to take him to a hospital to provide him with the necessary treatment.
According to official sources, 40% of the men living in the occupied territories have been arrested by Israel´s troops at some point in their lives.
