According to the institution’s Facebook page, Delgado’s concert is scheduled for December 22 and Fonseca’s on December 23, both at the Arte Cubano building yard. They joined in other events as the opening of the Medusa’s Hop exhibition by Belgian artist Koen Vanmechelen.
For his concert, Delgado invited Vicente Alejandro Trigo, leading voice and director of D’CoraSon band, guitarist Leodán Brito and percussionist Alejandro Aguiar, according to the text.
Fonseca will perform with Ruly Herrera (drums), Jorge Reyes (double bass), Javier Zalba (saxophone, flute, and clarinet), Roberto García (trumpet and flugelhorn), Andrés Cuayo (percussion set), Adel González (percussion) and Carlos Calunga (vocal).
The performances are part of the calendar of events that opened on December 8 with the Wifredo Lam Indivisible exhibition to commemorate the painter’s 120th birthday, the date chosen to declare 2023 the Year of the 110th Anniversary the MNBA.
