On Saturday, eight patients were discharged, so the country´s overall recovery toll rose to 1,102,968; meanwhile total death toll remains at 8,530.

This favorable epidemiological result is result of the staggered vaccination campaign against Covid-19, since Cuba has applied as many as 42,629,099 homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccine doses

According to Cuba´s Public Health Ministry (MINSAP), 90.3% of the country´s population is fully vaccinated, while 8,667,562 people have received booster doses.
