According to the Health Ministry (MINSA), out of the 63 confirmed cases, 41 of them are active cases, nine hospitalized and 32 remained at-home screening.
The MPOX-infected people, mostly males, were clinically assessed after carrying out tests for analysis in various health facilities.
MINSA and its field teams are researching to come up with close contacts and apply vaccination against the disease.
The Expanded Program of Immunization (EPI), on the other hand, reported that 33 doses have so far been applied.
