At the meeting, Xuan Phuc and Osinbajo hailed the results of bilateral collaboration in the political-diplomatic fields, trade, investment, and digital economy, and agreed upon some measures to promote ties in the future.
The two leaders also ratified the need to boost the connection between both economies, given their large populations and location in dynamically developing regions in Africa and Asia.
They also expressed the desire to strengthen investments and create favorable conditions for businesses in both countries so as to identify opportunities and implement projects in areas such as oil exploration and exploitation, the Voice of Vietnam reported.
Osinbajo, who concluded his three-day official visit to Vietnam on Wednesday, was received by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Tuesday.
Minh Chinh said that agriculture should be a priority in cooperation between the two countries.
The Vietnamese head of Government told the visitor that his country is willing to build relations with regional organizations such as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
