According to the information, a reconnaissance quadcopter was detected intruding in Belarusian territory near the Mokrany-Domanovo checkpoint, at an altitude of 300 meters.
Electronic warfare equipment was employed to force the drone to land, the information said.
The note specified that the quadcopter had no identification markings and, in addition, was equipped with a built-in video camera for conducting recognition of the border territory.
The border service recalled that an unmanned vehicle used for explosive device-drop exercises flying in from Ukraine was intercepted and force-landed in the Gomel region on November 2nd.
Later, on November 16, also in the Brest region, border guards shot down a reconnaissance drone, which also invaded the airspace of Belarus from Ukrainian territory.
