“More and more facts indicate a confrontation between Russia and NATO in Ukraine: several military specialists from the alliance’s countries are fighting as part of a dozen private military companies and the Ukrainian armed forces,” Zakharova stressed.
The spokeswoman commented that the Ukrainian army depends on the supply of Western weapons, intelligence, instructors, and mercenaries.
Zakharova noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hardly hesitates to carry out Western orders and take “hostilities to a bitter end and to the last Ukrainian citizen,” she added.
“He is ready to sacrifice the lives and destinies of his citizens, provided that the financial and military assistance does not stop, without which Kiev authorities would not have lasted a day,” the diplomat stated.
On February 24, Russia began the military operation to “denazify and demilitarize” Ukraine and to protect people subjected to intimidation and genocide by the Kiev regime during eight years.
