Japan is accused of intensifying hate campaign against DPRK

Pyongyang, Nov 21 (Prensa Latina) The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) accused the Tokyo Government of intensifying hatred and discrimination campaign against this country and Korean residents in Japan, ACNC news agency published on Monday.

The Japanese authorities are turning the country into a scene of Korea-phobia with criticism of defense measures by Pyongyang in face of the increase of military exercises against the DPRK conducted by the United States, the Republic of Korea, and Japan itself, the news agency reported.

Given this situation, Korean schools, their students, and the headquarters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) reported more than ten cases of harassment, whose human rights were flagrantly violated, ACNC stated. On October 4, educational centers in Tokyo and Kobe received calls with threatening messages such as ‘you cannot allow the presence of North Korean schools in Japan’ and ‘we will destroy the establishments of Koreans once Japan orders the law.’

In addition, phrases such as ‘North Koreans out!’ were shouted from loudspeakers around Chongryon headquarters in Aichi, Ishikawa, and Gunma departments, ACNC reported.
