Balseiro wrote on Twitter that the exercise would contribute to identifying problems and guaranteeing the elections’ success on November 27.
The CEN president tweeted about the commitment and dedication of university students as supervisors of the elections and the training of more than 180,000 electoral authorities involved in the process.
During the dynamic trial, participants would check the communication and transportation mechanisms and review the existence of patriotic symbols in the places chosen to elect the citizens’ representatives and the general conditions at each polling station.
This time, 26,746 Cubans were proposed as delegates after completing 44,929 nomination assemblies where more than six million voters took part, according to data provided by the CNE.
The institution added that, in this elections, which takes place every five years, more than 1,400 supervisors, nearly 24,000 collaborators, support personnel, and 22,205 youths who will exercise their right to vote for the first time.
