In statements to Prensa Latina, Dr. Eduardo Martínez, BioCubaFarma President, highlighted this is a joint cooperation model to enable seed production including corn and soybeans.

Based on BioCubaFarma-developed technologies, Martínez said, the new agreement will make it possible to increase results up to five times.

We will provide the technology and AZCUBA will guarantee infrastructure, and once this technology is validated, the production results will be enjoyed by both.

Martínez added that this agreement will contribute to improving wax production, a very useful substance for the National Center for Scientific Research.

According to Martínez, AZCUBA pledged to sell corn and soybeans to BioCubaFarma for its self-consumption system, a decision that will be beneficial for both entities.

Plus, BioCubaFarma has strengthened relations with a Panamanian company, which will provide raw materials for drug production and guarantee Cuban biopharmaceutical product distribution nationwide and in other regional nations.
