The senior official told Belta news agency on Wednesday that the border with Belarus in Ukraine remains mined, almost all bridges leading to Gomel and Mozyr are disqualified, and all roads are already impassable.
During a meeting with the working groups in Babruisk, Lappo considered that the Ukrainian efforts focus on increasing the coverage of the border with fences.
At the same time, he noted that the entire population of the Ukrainian border area is under the influence of anti-Belarusian and anti-Russian propaganda.
In early October, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that Ukraine had deployed up to 15,000 soldiers across the border with his country.
