“These crimes and bloody incursions represent the implementation of official Israeli policy aimed at imposing the occupation status on our people,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denounced in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry “fully and directly” blamed the Government of Israel for those actions.
The official spokesman for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeina, also condemned the new offensive, which he considered a war crime.
The government movement “Fatah” assured that “the Palestinian people will face the aggression of the occupation and will defend their legitimate national and historical rights”, and called for popular intensification resistance against Israel in the occupied territories.
On the other hand, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, pointed out that “Nablus paves the way with the blood of the martyrs” (…) These sacrifices will only fuel the revolution in the West Bank,” he said.
The Islamic Jihad and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine considered the offensive against the city as “an organized crime and a terrorist act.”
