On Twitter, Rodríguez stressed the blockade was tightened to unprecedented levels under Donald Trump’s administration.
“President Biden’s policy against Cuba is presently regrettably and ineradicably the same Republican policy,” the Cuban foreign minister tweeted.
In his recent presentation to both domestic and foreign press regarding national report on the effects of the U.S. blockade, from August 2021 to February 2022, Rodriguez said Cuba has the right to live in peace.
“Everyone would be better off with no blockade. The United States would be a better nation without imposing a blockade on Cuba. The world would be better off with no blockade on Cuba,” he concluded.
