In a new call, activist Carlos Lazo, Bridges of Love Movement promoter, stated such a caravan will take place coming Sunday 25 for internationally calling President Joe Biden to put an end to the hostile sanctions against Cuba.
“We call on all international people of good will to hold events and caravans calling for the end of the US sanctions against the Cuban families,” Lazo told Prensa Latina.
The activist said coming Sunday 25 “we will once again raise our voices to support the Cuban people, so that President Biden puts an end to the economic blockade he has kept unchanged on Cuba and that punishes and kills the Cuban families”.
Lazo also called on international media outlets to break the other existing blockade, the information blockade that silences this kind of initiative, and called on men and women of good will who for decades have been demanding an end to this unilateral blockade imposed on Cuba for over six decades to join the international caravan.
Plus, he announced that several U.S. cities including Miami, New York and Los Angeles have already confirmed their strong support, as well as in Canada, several European and Latin American countries.
On the last weekend of each month, the Bridges of Love Movement conducts this solidarity action to call the Joe Biden Administration to lift all sanctions against Cuba and to put an end to the blockade imposed by successive administrations.
