Rodriguez traveled to New York past Saturday in the context of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).

On Monday, the Cuban foreign minister held meetings with his counterparts from Hungary, Péter Szijjártó; China, Wang Yi; Marshall Islands, Kitlang Kabua, and Honduras, Enrique Reina, with whom he discussed issues of mutual interest and the international agenda.
