Cuban personality calls to respect diversity new Family Code

Havana, Sep 19 (Prensa Latina) Cuba´s Casa de las Americas Cultural Center Chair Abel Prieto on Monday stressed his country is presently proposing a Family Code based on respect for diversity and love.

On Twitter, Prieto pointed out that Cuba will take the new Family Code to popular referendum on coming September 25, in order to champions all human beings´ dignity, in face of a world where hatred, intolerance, racism and violence are increasingly ramping up.

Regarding this issue, the Director of Vocal Sampling musical group, René Baños, expressed his unrestricted support to the new Family Code, recently analyzed and discussed nationwide.

Baños also said the new Family Code sets forth a legal framework aimed at reaching up equality of fundamental rights for all society.

“Anything pursuing equal rights is great in this increasingly unequal world,” Baños told Prensa Latina.
