MINSAP reported that 114 active cases are in hospitals or at home with a favorable clinical evolution.
It added that 25 patients were discharged, so the total number of recovered people rose to 1,102,224, while 231 patients and 117 suspected cases remain under epidemiological surveillance.
According to the daily report, the total death toll remains at 8,530.
Cuba achieved control of the disease after administering its own vaccines, a process that has benefited 9.98 million people with the Abdala, Soberana 02, and Soberana Plus vaccines.
In addition, 8.4 million people have already received booster doses.
